- Location: Luzerne Intermediate Unit 18<\/li>\n
- Time: 8:00 a.m. \u2013 5:00 p.m.<\/li>\n
- Projects will be dropped off at the LIU Office Building, 368 Tioga Avenue, Kingston by April 14, 2020. The LIU staff will set up the projects (graphic design with board) and prepare them for display and judging, please note graphic design and logo are combined as one project this year<\/strong> and 3D Design is also a new category.<\/strong> All movies, animation and web pages are to be handed in on CD\u2019s, DVD\u2019s, or flash drives. Display boards will not be accepted this year outside of Graphic Design<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0 We are not expecting the need for computers to be brought to the IU, however we can accommodate if the project requires it. Programming projects may require specific devices, please plan to bring everything needed to run programming projects, including hardware.<\/li>\n
- Narratives, flow charts and sign off sheets are required to be submitted for all projects. Please review specific rubrics to make sure all requirements are met.<\/li>\n
- After last year\u2019s success we are suggesting that all projects have a binder, paper or electronic, with all the documents required for judging and the digital files on a CD. The binders make judging easier and keep all the documentation and media together through the process.<\/li>\n
- Drop off hours on the 14th will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and we are willing to assist advisors in picking up projects if we can schedule it before the 8th.\u00a0 Early submissions will be accepted the week of April 1st during normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Due to these changes we feel the need to limit entries to two entries<\/strong> per category, per school building.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- It is highly suggested that every student participating read the scoring rubric for their category. This will help student create projects that align with the goals and intent of the competition.<\/li>\n
- All entries must designate a faculty member or sponsor. All communication will go through that person. The faculty member or sponsor must accompany students to the regional and state competitions. All entries must register online and be submitted by the faculty member.<\/li>\n
- There will be no entrance fee charged to either the school district or student to participate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
